About Molly

Hi, my name is Molly. I’m a working writer and actor based in Los Angeles. I’m also an expert teacher with over 20 years experience having taught hundreds of students of all ages from all walks of life. I’ve taught improv to incarcerated youth, storytelling to managers at Google, and public speaking to a group of 80 New York Park Rangers in full uniform.

As a writer I’ve written for network TV, a feature for Prime, made short films that have screened at festivals around the world, and am a proud alum of the Warner Brothers Television Writers’ Workshop. On the acting side I’ve worked with Ars Nova, The Geffen, The O’Neill, TBS, and CBS, to name a few. You can read more about me on my website.

The entertainment industry is notoriously tough to crack, ever-changing, and can be confusing to navigate. The writers and creators who have lasting careers are ones who have an authentic voice, stay true to themselves, and write the stories they have to tell - not what they think someone will buy. I deeply believe in the importance of opening doors to future writers and creators and helping them discover their unique storytelling superpowers.

So, I founded Authentic Storytelling to do just that. I’m glad you’re here.

Here’s the special sauce I bring to the table as a teacher:

  • Unique perspective as both a writer for Fox, NBC, Prime and an actor for TV/Film and Tony Award-winning theatres

  • Proven track record with students admitted to top fellowship programs & landing their first staffing jobs with scripts written under Molly’s guidance

  • Sought after lecturer and application reader for studio fellowship programs including Warner Access Media & PEAK Writers Fellowship (sponsored by Netflix)

  • Access to regular guest speakers featuring working writers, directors, and executives of your favorite shows

  • Tried and true ways to help each student find their unique voice
